russia is interesting.
i found a book lying on the sidewalk near the BQE in carrol gardens on the russian civil war.
it was the 2nd book of an out-of-print two volume history of the bolshevik revolution.
in time i managed to find part 1(as well another edition of part 2) in the strand.
i've also read simon sebag montiefiore's 2 books on stalin and david remnick's "lenin's tomb".
oh, and also several short stories by gogol.
so
as you can see
2008 has been quite russified for li'l kevin.
