As far as the photographing areas goes - I don't know exactly. There's one point - just a point - in the middle of the creepy spectrum that you have to balance on to be able to do this, I think. If you're too clean and innocent, then you look like a closet sociopath/serial killer type when you suddenly break out the camera. And if you're too creepy then you're not going to meet any women to begin with, obviously. But if you're genuine and intelligent but just skeezy enough to suggest an air of experience in matters of love, I think they trust you and imagine that you're going to gently ferry them to some unknown islands of sexual experience. And first you have to talk about lenses and say camera names that sound vaguely swiss/german, and let them see you taking pictures of other things besides themselves. Using film cameras might be part of it, too. The photos seem less easily distributable that way. Just whipping out the camera phone spontaneously is kind of a bad idea. But I have seen some pretty sick things on friends' camera phones.
(Of course, you can just hire prostitutes that will let you do whatever you want. Can you tell which pictures I took in Rio? Those are actually my favorites.)
But I think you could be standing on that point in the creepy spectrum, or close enough, at least. You're goofy and unassuming but very well read in areas that make you seem "safe" or "trustworthy". But you're bald and tall and sometimes have a beard. Which is like 2/3ds of the typical public flasher's uniform. Let me know how it goes.
Anyway, I'll get back to you on the Coney Island thing soon.
